Paul, a naive loner in a coastal town, meets a quiet young stranger, Charlie, on a gloomy day at the beach.  They spend a sweet and quiet afternoon together, starting an unlikely friendship that blurs the line between romantic and platonic affection.

CONTACT
MARK THIEDEMAN (Director) was born in New Orleans and spent most of his life in the South before studying film and television at New York University.  He also acted as the director of photography for "Swimsuit" and enjoys exploring the visual possibilities of the digital medium.  Previous short films include "Hermaphroditus," "The Kite," and "The Debt." 
 
JOSHUA GOOLSBY (Artistic / Technical Support) is a writer, cinephile, and the producer of the short film "In the Company of Strangers."  He is originally from Memphis, TN, and he plans on initiating his own creative film projects in the near future. 
 
TARA ROSE STROMBERG (Artistic / Technical Support) is currently a student at New York University, where she recently shot her thesis film "Day of Embers."  Her short documentary "Un-Kosher" has already screened at multiple film festivals. 
 
VINCENT DEE (On-Set Still Photography / Sound Support) studied music business at New York University and is the creative force behind Normandy, a Brooklyn band which recently completed their debut EP, "Time I've Wasted."  For more information, visit myspace.com/normandy.
MATT BROWN
as PAUL


MATT BROWN is a recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.  While his acting background is primarily rooted in local theater, he has acted in several short films and has been involved in a web-based video series currently in production.  Also a writer, he hopes to be involved in future filmmaking endeavors both on- and behind-camera.
