| THE SCOUNDREL (2009, 80 minutes) New York City -- present day. Paul arrived six years ago with a suit, three shirts, and a pack of cigarettes. Citing "war" and "a bad economy" as causes, he says he has found it difficult to find a job, and instead of working he spends his days writing and philosophizing. "In order to be a writer, I need to have experiences. In order to have experiences, I need time to live. I cannot live when I'm working," he says. And thus, here are the experiences of one talented and provocative metropolitan import -- his days, his nights, his life and loves, the girls (and the boys), the drinks, the conversation, and of course, the poetry.
